Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT

To reserve services outlined above, a non-refundable 50% retainer is due on signing this agreement. No design work will begin until this agreement and retainer are received. This retainer is applied to the estimate of services. Remaining balance will be paid before printing each project milestone (save the dates, wedding invitations, day-of items if applicable) at a recommended timeline (shared above). Orders will not be sent to print until approval and balance are received. Late approval may result in extended project timelines and/or 30% rush fee for requested delivery under 3 weeks.

TIMING

Project duration will vary based on design needs and event timeline. Often, when we work together over the course of a couple’s engagement year, starting early can work well.  Proofs will be emailed for review, and we can take our time during the three revision process.  A tight design window is 1-2 weeks.  It can be done, but understand we have limited time for editing and change requests must be made promptly. Once approved and sent to print, standard orders are delivered within 3-4 weeks. *Print upgrades such as letterpress or assembly additions may extend timing, but we will discuss an agreed delivery date prior to printing.

DESIGN AND REVISIONS

Three revisions to artwork and copy are included with stationery estimates. To ensure effective revisions, please share with key parties (parents, wedding planners) at the beginning of a project and list change requests collectively. If revisions requested will impact the project timeline and/or estimate, client will be notified and written approval is required. 

REPRINTS AND ORDERING MORE

Proofread, proofread, proofread. After formal approval (payment + written affirmation), no changes may be made. We rely on customers to review and confirm all content. Reprint of stationery card is a minimum $200.  Reprint of envelope addresses: minimum $50. Same minimums apply for ordering more; best to buffer ∼10 extras.

SALES TAX + SHIPPING

Sales Tax is applied to customers with a IL shipping address.  Effective 2020, tax will also be added for KS, PA, WA. UPS or Fedex Ground shipping is included with wedding stationery estimates within the lower 48.  International: USPS International Priority Mail/FedEx time frames are an estimated ∼6-10 business days. Costs will vary depending on location; anticipate an additional $50-100. 

RETURNS

All semi-custom and custom orders (invitations, liners, save the dates, note cards, day-of goods, etc) are final.  Once received, please review orders promptly.  We check our shipments twice, but in the event of an issue please notify us within 2 business days so we can take action as soon as possible.

Artwork Personal Use Agreement

EVR PAPER, LLC (known as 'Stationer') has agreed to provide goods and services according to the terms of this agreement to {{client.name}} (well as parents, known as 'Client').  Stationery goods may include watercolors from an existing design (known as 'Semi-Custom', or created for the first time for the Client (known as 'Custom' all will be referred to as 'Artwork'.

COPYRIGHT

Purchase includes non-exclusive license, not ownership. All Artwork [PDFs, PNGs, JPGs or printed paper goods] and rights relating to them, including copyright and ownership rights, remain the sole and exclusive property of the Stationer.

PERMITTED USE OF MATERIAL(S)

Stationery goods may be used and displayed by Client only. This license to use the Artwork is non-exclusive and non-transferable.

USE RESTRICTIONS

(1) Artwork may not be printed independently (reproduced, copied). Including but not limited to save the dates, wedding invitations, day-of items (welcome notes, menus, programs, escort cards, etc). (2) Artwork may not be sold or given. Including but not limited to stationery, prints, or gifts. (3) Artwork may not be modified. Including but not limited to altering composition, coloring, or proportion. The Stationer reserves a right to create any such modifications.

OUT OF SCOPE USE

Artwork may be used on non-stationery goods such as cakes, dance floors, backdrops, koozies - please contact to receive Artwork in appropriate file specifications. A quote to vectorize (design software process for enlargement/removing white backgrounds), may be needed for the file to translate best.

PROMOTION AND CREDIT

Stationer reserves the right to photograph and distribute past work as needed. Stationer is conscious of personal information and looks to obstruct and/or change when possible. Client agrees to credit Stationer as the owner/creator of the Artwork including but not limited to in publications, websites, social media. Client will cite EVR PAPER (capitalized) or @evrpaper (social media).

TERMINATION

In the event Artwork is used outside of this agreement, Client agrees to certify that no copy remains in possession or control and are subject to fines equal to the value of actual use.

AGREEMENT

Client acknowledges that he/she has read this Agreement and understands by using the Artwork he/she is bound by its terms and conditions. If any use of the Artwork is needed beyond the wedding or Client’s home; this Agreement may be revisited/revised
