The Story
EVR PAPER was founded in 2015 by Christine Ross. After studying business at the University of Michigan, she worked as a software consultant in Chicago. She also studied at SAIC, Chicago Botanic Garden Regenstein School, and earned her Masters in Art Ed through NIU. While teaching in CPS, friends' requests for art gained traction, and her name was passed from family to family and the EVR PAPER brand began as an idea to create beautiful stationery with minimalist design and artful details. With EVR PAPER projects, she works with her brother, Thomas, at a family owned commercial printing company in Chicagoland. Experts in the printing industry for over fifty years, Bell Litho's team helps deliver a professional and quality product.
Meet Christine
From a young age, she was taught to carefully observe and celebrate the beautiful details of life. As a child, her maternal grandmother, a librarian, and her mother planned outings at art museums. She learned to create in her maternal grandfather's woodworking shop. In high school, she worked at her paternal grandfather's lithography printing company that he grew with her grandmother, a business her father, aunts, brothers and cousins still continue. Christine's aunts lived in Wyoming and Colorado; and, as a competitive figure skater, she trained in the summers in Lake Arrowhead, Colorado Springs, and Lake Placid. Clean ice lines, trees, mountains, all influence her aesthetic. She currently lives with her husband and three kiddos outside Chicago. View our artist website.
